1. Pricing information:
All prices include V.A.T. at the current UK rate unless shown otherwise. Carriage rates can be found on our Home Page at http://www.carparts-direct.co.uk/carriage-costs and are subject to change without prior notification.
2. Order confirmation and order validation:
We will confirm your order either by e-mail or by telephone.
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo, Delta and Maestro cards. Payment will be debited to your account upon placement of your order.
4. Delivery of goods:
We will endeavour to deliver your order to you within 4 working days providing the goods are in stock (Unless a longer delivery period is clearly stated on the specific product page). If we are not able to meet this deadline, we will contact you within 5 days of receipt of your order to arrange an alternative delivery date. However, if this is not acceptable to you, we will offer you the choice of cancellation or a refund.
Please note that deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, The Highlands and Islands of Scotland can take longer than 3-5 days to deliver - Please ask if express delivery is required.

6. Mail Order Returns/Refund policy:
Please note that you do have the right to return a product or to cancel an order within the first 14 days following delivery (Excluding special order items - see below) - items that have been removed from their sealed security packaging will be subject to a £50.00 inspection fee. We also reserve the right to refund your purchase minus any carriage charges that we have incurred in delivering (As detailed below in sections 6.1 through to 6.4). With front/rear lights and indicators, Rossini performance discs we can only accept returns if a problem is reported within 24 hours of delivery. For returns outside of the 14 day cancellation period please see 6.4.
*Special order items are ordered especially from manufacturers and for this reason are non-returnable. We will not be able to accept special order goods back for credit or exchange. This includes items that are built to order such as Rossini brake discs, Steering racks, Power steering pumps and Drive shafts.
Any item that has been rebuilt on a service exchange basis at the request of the customer is non returnable. This includes both a customers own part or where the core unit is provided by the supplier. The service will be considered to have been completed when the remanufacture takes place and the item is delivered to the customer.
If you wish to return any item then please follow these basic steps:
(a) Contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a Returns Number.
(b) Send the goods to the following address:Returns, Car Parts Direct 1 Southwell Road West, Mansfield. NG18 4EH. Please note that, subject to 6.1 to 6.4 above, we can only refund if goods are returned in the original packaging in "as new" condition.
(c) Attach a copy of the delivery note or invoice as proof of purchase and mark the package clearly with the Returns Number.
*Returns Number - This number helps us to deal quickly and efficiently with your return. Please note that if this number is not clearly marked on the returned item then this may cause delays.
6.1 Correct parts supplied:
If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the product costs only. Any carriage costs will not be refunded and you will also be responsible for the return carriage charges.
A 20% handling charge will be applied to all goods correctly supplied.
6.2 Incomplete/damaged or incorrect goods:
If the goods are delivered incomplete, have been damaged in transit, have been incorrectly supplied - In this case we reserve the right to replace the product. If you require a refund, we will reimburse the product costs but not carriage costs. Please note that you will also be responsible for the return carriage charges.
Please note: You must inform us of damaged deliveries within a reasonable period of time. For front/rear lights and indicators and Rossini Performance discs you need to inform us of any damage within 24hrs of delivery. All other damaged deliveries must be notified within 72 hours of delivery. We are unable to accept responsibility for damage to goods beyond these periods.
6.3 Warranty/Faulty items:
Products supplied by Carparts-direct come with a 12 month warranty.
If you have a problem within 6 months of purchase we will replace the part but reserve the right to test items before exchange. This may require the part to be returned to the original manufacturer. After 6 months the part will either be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
Before exchanging goods we reserve the right to test items thought to be at fault. Payment will be required for any replacement parts sent out before return of 'faulty' goods. If items are returned and found not to be at fault they will be returned to the customer or a credit note issued to the value of the goods less a 15% administration charge.
The guarantee on parts is limited to the product itself. We do not cover any labour costs incurred in removing and replacing parts that are faulty or thought to be faulty.
Our guarantee does not cover any form of impact damage.
6.4 Product exchanges:
If you wish to return a product for exchange then we reserve the right to deduct our initial shipping fee. (i.e. the shipping fee that we have incurred in shipping the first product to you) and a 15% re-stocking charge. Goods returned outside of the 14 day cancellation period will either be exchanged for other goods or a credit note issued. Parts that have been fitted, modified or are not in a resalable condition will not be accepted back for credit or exchange.
(The handling charge is to offset the costs incurred by ourselves in processing and shipping your order as requested)
6.5 Return of goods outside of the 14 days cancellation period:
For all goods returned outside of this period, subject to the parts being returned in their original packaging in a resalable condition, we will issue a credit note to the value of the goods less a 15% re-stocking fee.
7. Product information and product images:
Although we endeavor to provide you with the latest product information and to ensure that product images are identical to the items supplied, we cannot always guarantee that this will be the case. Product colours and styles can differ slightly from the published images.
8. Confidentiality of personal details:
Personal details are held confidentially. Please note that we never divulge personal details to any third party and any information supplied is used solely for the purpose of processing your order. Our website is SSL secure and our certificate is provided by Sagepay who are widely recognised as the number one provider of SSL certificates to secure websites.
9. Suitability of products:
Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure that the item that you have ordered is suitable for your car based on the information that we have published on our website. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of any product for your vehicle then please contact us for further advice before ordering. All application information is supplied by the product manufacturers and all dates used in product descriptions are dates of vehicle manufacture, they are not vehicle registration dates. If you are in doubt please ask. Please note that products on this web site are generally suitable for UK specification vehicles and we are not able to ensure suitability of these products for non-UK specification vehicles (including imported models). Before fitting any parts please check they match the original part removed from your vehicle. We cannot accept for return any part that has been fitted.
All parts supplied are based on catalogue data supplied by MAM Software. We do not accept any responsability for errors in these listings and cannot be held responsable for any costs incurred due to such errors. We strongly recommend that you check parts suppied against those on your vehicle before commencing work to remove the original parts.
Our conditions of Sale do not affect your statutory rights. All our transactions are subject to English law.
