1. Pricing information:
All prices exclude V.A.T. at 17.5%. unless shown otherwise. Delivery to UK mainland addresses is just £7.90 Plus Vat on any size of order. Certain promotional products are offered with reduced carriage to UK mainland addresses. Carriage to the Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man is just £10.00 Plus Vat on orders of any size. For non-UK deliveries please ask about our low cost shipping options. Carriage rates are subject to change without prior notification.
2. Order confirmation and order validation:
We will confirm your online order either by e-mail or by telephone.
3. Payment: We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Solo, Delta and Maestro cards. We are however unable to process orders placed using American Express cards. Payment will be debited to your account upon placement of your order. Alternatively we can accept cheques made payable to "Car Parts Direct" and sent to the following address: - Car Parts Direct. 1 Southwell Road West, Mansfield. NG18 4EH.
4. Delivery of goods: We will endeavor to deliver your order to you within 4 working days providing the goods are in stock (Unless a longer delivery period is clearly stated on the specific product page). If we are not able to meet this deadline, we will contact you within 5 days of receipt of your order to arrange an alternative delivery date. However, if this is not acceptable to you, we will offer you the choice of cancellation or a refund.
Please note that deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, The Highlands and Islands of Scotland can take longer than 3-5 days to deliver - Please ask if express delivery is required.
5. Complaints and queries: We always try to offer a first-class level of service. If you are not happy with any aspect of our service or if you have any queries or comments then please let us know. 6. Returns/Refund policy: Please note that you have the right to return a product or to cancel an order within the first 7 days following delivery (Excluding special order items - see below) –you will be responsible for the return carriage charges. Parts that have been fitted or are not in a resalable condition cannot be accepted back. For returns outside of the 7 day cancellation period please see 6.3.
Special order items are ordered especially from manufacturers to your specification and for this reason are non-returnable. When you place an order we will clearly tell you if you are requesting a special order item and that we will not be able to accept it back for credit or exchange unless it is faulty (see 6.1 and 6.2)
6.1 Incomplete/damaged or incorrect goods: In the unlikely event that the goods reach you damaged or incomplete we will endeavour to replace them for you as soon as possible. Please inform us of any damaged deliveries as soon as possible.
6.2 Faulty items: In the unlikely event that you suspect a part may be faulty please contact us so we can make arrangements to test it. Where goods are found to be faulty we can arrange for a refund, or if you prefer a replacement or credit note. Payment may be required for any replacement parts sent out before return of 'faulty' goods. If, after testing, the goods are found not to be at fault we regret that we are not always able to accept them back – however in certain circumstances we may be able to arrange for a credit note for the value of the goods (excluding shipping/delivery charges) less a 15% handling fee.
Please note: You must inform us of damaged deliveries within a reasonable period of time. For front/rear lights and indicators and Rossini Performance discs you need to inform us of any damage within 48hrs. All other damaged deliveries must be notified within 7 days of delivery. We are unable to accept responsibility for damage to goods beyond these periods.
6.3 After the 7 day cancellation period (see 6. above) If you decide you no longer want the product or feel you may have ordered the wrong item - in exceptional circumstances we will exchange it for other goods or offer a credit note. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
Goods must be returned as new in their original packaging. Where we are able to offer an exchange you will be charged shipping on any replacement item and we reserve the right to charge an additional 15% handling fee. A refund or credit note will be for the cost of the item (less shipping costs) and a further 15% handling fee will be deducted.
6.4 Returning Goods
If you wish to return any item then please follow these basic steps:
(a) Contact us to request a *Returns Number.
(b) Send the goods to the following address: Returns, Car Parts Direct 1 Southwell Road West, Mansfield. NG18 4EH. Please note that, subject to 6.1 to 6.3 above, we can only refund if goods are returned in the original packaging in "as new" condition.
(c) Attach a copy of the delivery note or invoice as proof of purchase and mark the package clearly with the *Returns Number.
(*) Returns Number - This number helps us to deal quickly and efficiently with your return. Please note that if this number is not clearly marked on the returned item then this may cause delays.
6.5 Return of goods outside of the 7 days cancellation period: For all goods returned outside of this period, subject to the parts being returned in their original packaging in a resalable condition, we will issue a credit note to the value of the goods less a 15% re-stocking fee.

Product information and product images:Although we endeavor to provide you with the latest product information and to ensure that product images are identical to the items supplied, we cannot always guarantee that this will be the case. Product colours and styles can differ slightly from the published images.
8. Confidentiality of personal details: Personal details are held confidentially. Please note that we never divulge personal details to any third party and any information supplied is used solely for the purpose of processing your order or sending you regular email bulletins (If requested). If you decide that you would like to leave our mailing list, please ask and we will remove all of your details. Our website is SSL secure and our certificate is provided by Thawte who are widely recognised as the number one provider of SSL certificates to secure websites. Suitability of products: Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure that the item that you have ordered is suitable for your car based on the information that we have published on our website. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of any product for your vehicle then please contact us for further advice before ordering. All application information is supplied by the product manufacturers and all dates used in product descriptions are dates of vehicle manufacture, they are not vehicle registration dates. If you are in doubt please ask. Please note that products on this web site are generally suitable for UK specification vehicles and we are not able to ensure suitability of these products for non-UK specification vehicles (including imported models). " No. Information that we receive about you, obtained from on-line orders and catalogue requests is not passed outside the Carparts-direct group unless strictly necessary to deliver your order (see "Outside Agents" below). Other information about you, such as your email address is not divulged to any other outside party, and any mailing lists are encrypted so that no one else receiving a newsletter from us would know the identity of anyone else on the mailing list.

Car Parts Direct will not send out random, unsolicited emails, and our mailing list of customers who have indicated that they wish to receive newsletters is held on a secure multi password protected server so that no outside organization can access this mailing list in an attempt to send spam mail. We deplore such spam mails and our assurance to those customers who have indicated that they would like to receive newsletters and special offers is that these are the only emails that they will receive from us, and that their email addresses will not be passed to any other organization outside the Carparts-direct Group.
